Unfortunately it’s not enough to just have a website, the site alone will not generate sales and enquiries. There are over one billion websites on the internet, how do people find yours?

Marketing. It is no longer good enough to build a website and expect people to come and find you, you have to show them the way. Whether that is through social media, paid advertising, sponsored posts, or by simply keeping your website updated with fresh content so that Google thinks your website is worth showing in the search results, you can’t just build it and leave it.

They must be interested in what you do to be a customer so tell them about your new products or services, wish them a Merry Christmas or remind them that they need you again, be it an annual service or a product that should beabout to run out.

Email is great, the audience is welcoming, you know them and they know you, that’s why it is the marketing channel of choice for many companies. It’s cost effective and if done well, drives sales and enquiries whilst building your brand. If you aren’t already emailing your customers, you really should be.
